| Notes on loss | At 16.25 hours on 31 Oct, 1944, U-475 fired a Gnat at an escort vessel off Osmussaari in the Baltic Sea, observed a hit after 8 minutes 13 seconds and the sinking of the ship. The vessel attacked was probably the SB-2. | ||
