History
Notes on loss On 18 Jun, 1940, U-32 stopped the two Spanish trawlers Sálvora and Faro-Ons because they were outside of the allowed area of fishing and sank both by gunfire after the crew abandoned ship. 19 fishermen from both ships were picked up by two lifeboats from Altair, which had been sunk by the same U-boat a few hours before. All survivors were later rescued by two other Spanish trawlers and taken to Pasages, Spain arriving there on 21 June.
