Attacks on U-967 during this patrol

21 Nov 1943
At 06.12 hours the boat fought off a Halifax aircraft with AA fire. This was probably a Liberator (53 Sqdn RAF/A, pilot W/C H.R.A. Edwards, AFC) which escorted the convoy SL-139 and could not attack because its Leigh Light failed. (Sources: Franks/Zimmerman)

30 Nov 1943
While inbound an unknown aircraft attacked the boat which again escpaed unharmed. The boat put into St. Nazaire the next day. (Sources: Blair, vol 2, page 441)
