1 Apr 1949. In April, 1949 the breaking up U-2348 began at Leigh & Co in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Men lost from U-boats

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2348 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
