Ernst Kaltenbrunner awarded this Leutnant z See the Ritterkreuz in November 1944.ostensibly for covert missions, whilst in command of the Passim. He landed stores and gifts for Abwehr agents in Argentina in July 44, amongst other shady adventures. Can anyone tell me more about this intriguing character.Where were stores landed, were agents later captured etc?Was he ever considered for the U-Boat Waffe? Did he survive war?
