USS Trout (Lt.Cdr. L.P. Ramage) torpedoes and damages the Japanese tanker Nisshin Maru (16801 GRT) off Miri, Borneo in position 04º31'N, 114º52'E.

USS Trout (Lt.Cdr. L.P. Ramage) torpedoes and damages the Japanese auxiliary gunboat Hirotama Maru (1911 GRT) at the south entrance to Makassar Strait in position 04º11'S, 117º45'E. Trout surfaces to sink the ship with gunfire but 7 of her crew were wounded by gunfire from the Japanese ship. Lt.Cdr. Ramage then decided to finish off the Japanese ship with a torpedo.

USS Parche (Lt.Cdr. L.P. Ramage) torpedoes and sinks the Japanese merchant cargo ships Shoryu Maru (6475 GRT) and Taiyoku Maru (5244 GRT) west of Luzon Strait in position 20º48'N, 118º03'E.

USS Parche (Cdr. L.P. Ramage) sinks a Japanese guardboat with gunfire in the North Pacific Ocean in position 30º14'N, 152º33'E.

While operating near the Bashi Channel off the north-west coast of Luzon USS Parche (Cdr. L.P. Ramage) torpedoes and sinks the Japanese Army cargo ship Manko Maru (4471 GRT) in position 19º08'N, 120º51'E, the Japanese merchant tanker Koei Maru (10238 GRT) in position 19º00'N, 122º55'E, and torpedoes and damages the Japanese merchant tanker Ogura Maru No.1 (7270 GRT) in position 19º10'N, 120º58'E, and the Japanese army cargo ship Fuso Maru (8195 GRT). Parche also teams up with USS Steelhead to sink the Japanese army cargo ship Yoshino Maru (8990 GRT) in position 19º05'N, 120º50'E.

5 Aug 1944
USS Parche (Cdr. L.P. Ramage) calles at Saipan. She departs bound for Pearl Harbor the next day.

16 Aug 1944
USS Parche (Cdr. L.P. Ramage) ends her 2nd war patrol at Pearl Harbor.

10 Sep 1944
