| Noteable events involving S-15 include: 23 Nov, 1943 S-15 fires four torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' an auxiliary minesweeper of the Laksefjord. The target is not hit. 26 May, 1944 S-15 fires four torpedoes against a German convoy of the Syltefjord. No hits were obtained. S-15 was then heavily depth charged by the German auxiliary submarine chasers UJ 1209, UJ 1212 and UJ 1219. 23 Aug, 1944 S-15 attacks but misses the small German tanker Gretchen with torpedoes off Makkaur. 24 Aug, 1944 S-15 torpedoes and damages the German merchant Dessau (5983 BRT) off the Tanafjord. The damaged Dessau is towed to Mehamn. |
