Zbik means Wild Cat in Polish.

Zbik was interned in Sweden on 27 September 1939 after she had patrolled in the Baltic.
She was returned to Poland after the war.
Decommissioned in 1955. Scrapped in 1956.

Zbik (Lt. Cdr Zebrowski) laid 20 mines in Gulf of Gdansk. (1)

25 Sep 1939
Due to the lack of fuel, Zbik was forced to enter the Swedish harbour of Sandhammn where she was kept in confinement until the end of the war. (1)

1 Oct 1939
The German minesweeper M85 hit a mine laid by Zbik on 8 September 1939 and sank of the Hel Peninsula. (24 dead). (1)
