| History | In September 1947 she was about 84% completed and then it was planned to convert her into the first guided missile ship. She was designated a large command ship CBC-1 on 26 Feb, 1952 when another conversion was planned. Cancelled and struck from the navy list on 9 June, 1958. Sold for scrap in 1959. |
