Damaged off Casablanca on 8 November 1942 by American aircraft.
Beached at Mazagan north off Cape Blanco in position 33º25'N, 08º40'W on 10 November 1942 and wrecked after being bombed again by an aircraft from the American light cruiser USS Philadelphia (CL 41).
