SummaryThis is a moving biography of Alan Turing, a British mathematician instrumental in breaking the Enigma code. The movie portrays him as a brilliant thinker who was decorated for his service at Bletchley Park, but had the misfortune to be a homosexual at a time when this was a criminal offense in Britain. The action moves back and forth between the war years and the early 1950s, with a brief scene of Turing as a child in 1929.
