U-boats surface only briefly in this spy feature - mostly they lurk off the American shore while a party of Nazi agents attempt to elicit shipping information from an Allied spy (played by Coleman) whom they are holding in their secret hideout. Coleman is eventually rescued, and the U-boats are destroyed by bombers.

Filmed in wartime, this movie reflects both the contemporary anti-Axis feeling in the United States, and the national unease caused by the actual presence of U-boats off the American coast. Based on Marion Parsonnet's story Remember Tomorrow.
