Patrol description

The boat left for a patrol in the North Sea east of the Orkney Islands, but was ordered to a position off Southern Norway. On 27 March, she was ordered to assist U-21 which ran aground near Mandal, Norway. But U-22 did not answer and was reported missing thereafter, possibly mined west of Skagerrak.
