She was scuttled in Genoa harbour along with the former French submarine Henri Poincaré, FR 113 (ex-French Requin), Colonna and H 6. Refloated and repaired by the Germans, who ceded her to the Republican Navy on 25th January 1944. She was raised and, on 25th March 1944, repairs had started. Reported to have been assigned to the 10th MAS Flotilla on 29th April 1944.
