Around 0645B/26, the light cruiser HMS Orion (Capt. G.C.P. Menzies, RN) Augusta for Malta. She was escorted until 1000B/26 by the destroyers HMS Tartar (Cdr. St.J.R.J. Tyrwhitt, DSC, RN), HMS Nubian (Cdr. D.E. Holland-Martin, DSC, RN) and HMS Tumult (Lt.Cdr. N. Lanyon, RN).

Around 1115B/26, HMS Orion arrived at Malta. (1)
