. From 18/1/41-24/1/42 he commanded Rosyth Escort Force "Cochrane". From 9/10/44-16/8/45 he was Capt(D) Liverpool from the shore base "Defender". From 25/9/45-circa 4/46 he was Capt in Charge Freetown "Eland" until the post was disbanded.
