Career information

His father was John Enright, Coastguards RN, born 1851, his mother was Bridget born 1859, both of whom were born in Dunny Cove, Ireland.

Philip was the 10th of 12 children, of whom four at least (including Philip) served in the Royal Navy.

It seems Philip never married. His oldest brother, Lieutenant Commander Daniel Patrick Joseph Enright, RN, married Emily Augusta Wilmot Murray.

[After the Japanese surrender HMS Cumberland remained on the East Indies Station until late October 1945 when she sailed for the U.K. arriving there in mid-November. (14)
