Raised in August 1956. Renamed U-Hecht (pike) and served in the German Federal Navy from 1 Oct, 1957. Stricken on 30 Sep, 1968 and broken up at Kiel in 1969.

1 Oct 1957. The former U-2367 was commissioned into the Federal German Navy as U-Hecht (S 171) under Kptlt. Hans-Heinrich Hass, commander of U-2324 1944-1945.

Men lost from U-boats

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2367 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
