HMS Londonderry (Cdr. J.S. Dalison, RN) picks up 13 survivors from the British sloop HMS Culver that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-105 while escorting convoy SL-98 about 450 miles west-southwest of Cape Clear in position 48°43'N, 20°14'W.
