5 Feb 1945
HMS Satyr (Lt. J.N. Elliot, RN) ended her refit at the Devonport Dockyard. She made a trial dive off Plymouth that day.

During her refit Satyr had been streamlined to give her greater underwater speed so she could act as a high speed A/S target. (1)

6 Feb 1945
HMS Satyr (Lt. J.N. Elliot, RN) was to depart Plymouth for the Clyde. Her sailing was however delayed for 24 hours due to very bad weather conditions. (1)

7 Feb 1945
HMS Satyr (Lt. J.N. Elliot, RN) departed Plymouth for Rothesay. She was escorted by HMS Milford (Cdr.(Retd.) G.G. Slade, RN). (1)

9 Feb 1945
HMS Satyr (Lt. J.N. Elliot, RN) arrived at Rothesay to beging a period of trials and exercises off the Scottish West coast. (1)
