History

USS S-22 was transferred to the Royal Navy at New London on 19 June 1942. She was based at Halifax, Canada as an anti-submarine warfare training vessel. She was returned to the United States Navy at Philadelphia on 11 July 1944. Sold 16 November 1945 and broken up for scrap.
