Personal information
Private First Class in I Company, 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division. Son of Willett Russell and Gladys Caroline Bissett, of Roxbury, MA. His brother Kenneth Porter Bissett served in the US Navy and survived the sinking of the Malantic on 9 March 1943.
