Son of Company Sergeant Major Horace Armstrong, British Army, and Margaret Armstrong, of New Springs, Lancashire. His father was stationed in India with his family and sent them home when war broke out. He and his sister Hazel survived the sinking of Yorkshire, while her mother and her sisters Annie Elizabeth and Joyce perished.Do you have additional information on this person?
