Personal information
Son of Dennis and Ellen Murphy, of Dublin, Republic of Ireland; husband of Ellen Murphy, of Dublin. Thomas Murphy was in the lifeboat of Earlston that landed in Norway. He was taken to the camp Marlag und Milag Nord (POW No. 773), but died of typhus contracted during an epidemic and was buried at Rheinberg, Germany.
