Personal information
Son of Antonio F. and Grace Louise Figueredo, of Taunton, MA. George Francis Figueredo was on his first voyage after joining the Merchant Marine when China Arrow was sunk in February 1942 and spent more than fifty hours in the water before he was rescued. He later served in the US Navy from 7 January 1943 to 18 April 1946.
