History Completed as motor fishing vessel RT-54 Sudak for Narodnyj Komissariat Rybnoj Promyshlennosti (NKRP). On 2 Dec 1939, requistioned as armed trawler by the Northern Fleet and participated in the Winter war against Finland. On 29 Mar 1940, disarmed and returned to owner. On 25 Jun 1941, requisitioned again, converted to the A/S trawler Musson (No 23) (armed with two 45 mm guns and two 7.62 mm machine guns) and assigned to the Northern Fleet on 2 July. 
Notes on event

On 11 Oct 1942 the Musson (No 23) struck a mine laid on 28 August by U-589 and sank in five minutes about 5 miles from Chernyj KamenĀ“ Island. The vessel was on patrol duties since 6 October near the western entrance of the Matochkin Strait.
