History	Decommissioned 28 August 1945. Stricken by the U.S.N. 12 March 1948. Transferred to China 28 August 1945. Renamed Tai Ping. Tai Ping escaped with Nationalist forces to Taiwan but was torpedoed and sunk by Communist torpedo boats off Tachen Island 14 November 1954.
