Completed as passenger ship Duke of York on 4 June 1935.
Requisitioned by the Admiralty in May 1942 and converted to an LSI(H).
Displacement: 3747 tons.
Lenght: 358 feet

Machinery: 4 Boilers, 2 shafts, Parsons geared turbines, SHP 10000 = 21 knots.
Armament: 1 12pdr AA gun, 8 20mm AA (8x1)
Carried 10 LCA's and 250 troops

Returned in 1945.
