HMS P 51 (Lt. M.L.C. Crawford, DSC, RN) proceeded to Falmouth to seek medical attention for the first lieutenant which was suffering from severe haemorrhage that could not be stopped.

P 51 was escorted in by HMS ML 179. (1)
