23 Mar 1945
HMS Glory (Capt. A.W. Buzzard, DSO, OBE, RN) conducted D/G trials in Belfast Lough. She anchored off Bangor for the night. (2)

24 Mar 1945
HMS Glory (Capt. A.W. Buzzard, DSO, OBE, RN) proceeded from Bangor to the Clyde. En-route several trials were carried out, including full power trials. She was escorted by HMS Walker (Lt. T.W. Lancaster, DSC, RN) and the frigate HMS Inman (T/A/Lt.Cdr. H.E. Petre, RNR).

HMS Glory arrived at Greenock later the same day. (2)

Around 2000B/16, HMS Icarus and HMS Hotspur parted company.

Around 1100B/18, HMS Glory and HMS Escapade arrived at Gibraltar.

Around 1745B/18, HMS Glory departed Gibraltar for Malta. [No info available on a possible escort, most likely she proceeded unescorted.]

Around 1400B/21, HMS Glory arrived at Malta. (4)

Around 0630B/22, the light aircraft carriers HMS Venerable (Capt. W.A. Dallmeyer, DSO, RN, flying the flag of Rear-Admiral R.J.H. Harcourt, CB, CBE, RN), HMS Vengeance (Capt. D.M.L. Neame, DSO and Bar, RN) and HMS Glory (Capt. A.W. Buzzard, DSO, OBE, RN) departed Malta for Alexandria. They were escorted by the destroyer HMS Tuscan (Lt.Cdr. P.B.N. Lewis, DSC, RN). (5)

25 May 1945
Around 1400C/25, HMS Venerable (Capt. W.A. Dallmeyer, DSO, RN, flying the flag of Rear-Admiral R.J.H. Harcourt, CB, CBE, RN), HMS Glory (Capt. A.W. Buzzard, DSO, OBE, RN) and HMS Tuscan (Lt.Cdr. P.B.N. Lewis, DSC, RN) arrived at Alexandria from Malta after having carried out exercises during the last night.

HMS Vengeance (Capt. D.M.L. Neame, DSO and Bar, RN) did not participate in these exercises and had already put into Alexandria around 1415C/24. (5)

In the afternoon of 30 May the destroyer Artigliere joined company.
