History

Scuttled at Toulon on 27 November 1942 to prevent her capture by the Germans.
Raised by the Italians on 18 February 1943 and renamed FR 11.
The Italians began to refit the ship.
This refit was not finished at time of the Italian surrender, and the vessel fell into German hands once more.
Damaged by Allied bombers on 24 November 1943 and set on fire, also the ship took a list and rested against the quayside.
When Toulon was captured by the Allies in August 1944 the ship was found in this state and although a refit was considered, this did not materialised and the ship was scrapped instead.
