The Dutch submarine HrMs O 14 (Lt.Cdr. H.A.W. Goossens, RNN) and the Polish submarine ORP Sokol (Lt.Cdr. J. Kozio³kowski) departed Dundee for Holy Loch. She is escorted by the British ASW trawler HMS Preston North End (Lt. K.A. Vasey, MBE, RNR). On the 23th the British ASW trawler HMS Quadrille (T/Lt. N.T. Chetwood, RNVR) took over the escort. (8)
