HMS Shakespeare (Lt. D. Swanston, DSC and Bar, RN) conducted A/S exercises with HMS Mermaid (Lt.Cdr. J.P. Mosse, RN), HMS Hamlet (T/Lt. J.C. Boyd, RNVR) and HMS Graemsay (A/Skr.Lt. A.R. Lewis, RNR). (1)

13 Aug 1944
HMS Tactician (Lt.Cdr. A.F. Collett, DSC and Bar, RN) arrived at Scapa Flow. She departed for Dundee later the same day together with HMS Tuna (Lt. L.F.L. Hill, RNR). They were escorted by HMS Graemsay (A/Skr.Lt. A.R. Lewis, RNR). (2)
