In the morning, HMS Rodney (Capt. R.O. Fitzroy, RN), conducted 16" and 6" gunnery exercises.
Later on the day she conducted RIX (rangefinding and inclination) exercises off Scapa Flow during which she was brielfy escorted by HNoMS Svenner (Lt.Cdr. T. Holte). (2)

HMS Trusty (Lt. M.F.R. Ainslie, DSO, DSC, RN) conducts A/S exercises with the Norwegian destroyer HNoMS Svenner (Lt.Cdr. T. Holte) and later with the Greek destroyer RHN Salamis. (3)
