A Val kamikaze missed ship by small margin and hit Charlie Noble on a merchant nearby. Screen begins to limp in with substantial damage to cans. 11 sunk and 16 damaged. One Betty shot down by an F4U at about 6,000 ft, took 4.5 minutes to hit land. Fighters from Okinawa got 45 planes. (1)
