Personal information
Birger Oest-Larsen is buried at Kilchattan on the Isle of Colonsay. His body was still warm when it was found at Port an Obain, on the land side of a stone wall and some distance from the coastline, therefore he must have survived being 53 days adrift but died before being found after reaching shore.
