Personal information
John Vivian Locke served the Cunard White Star Line for about 50 years, the last then of them as a Captain. Commander in the RNR at the outbreak of World War Two he was assigned to HMS Aurania on 14 September 1939 and served aboard until the ship was torpedoed on 21 October 1941.
