Lost in the morning 4 Janaury 1944 during post-repair sea trials off the Georgian coast. All 22 men aboard were lost.

M-36 fires a torpedo into Yalta harbour, Crimea. The torpedo fails to hit a target and runs up the beach.

23 Aug 1942
M-36 torpedoed and sank the German tug Ankara (112 GRT) off Odessa, Ukraine in position 45°49'N, 30°12'E.
