Sunk by German auxiiary submarine chaser UJ 103 and UJ 106 west of Sevastopol, Crimea in position 44º37'N, 32º04'E. All hands lost.

20 Oct 1941
At 2207 hours, ShCh-216 fires a torpedo against the Hungarian merchant Szeged (594 GRT) north of the Bosporus. The torpedo missed the target.

7 Oct 1942
Around 1345 hours, ShCh-216 attacked a Romanian dredger with two torpedoes off the mouth of the Sulina river. The dredger manages to avoid both torpedoes but runs aground.

10 Oct 1942
At 2044 hours, ShCh-216 torpedoed and sank the Romanian merchant Carpati (4336 GRT) south of the mouth of the Sulina river in position 44°57'N, 29°47'E.

6 Aug 1943
At 1429 hours, ShCh-216 torpedoed and damaged the German tanker Friederike (7327 GRT, former French Firuz) off the Bosporus in position 41°23'N, 29°11'E.

10 Feb 1944
At 0250 hours, ShCh-216 attacked a German convoy and fires three torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 4000 GRT west of Yevpatoriya, Crimea in position 45°06'N, 32°06'E. All three torpedoes missed their target. The German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 106 reports an end of run detonation.

17 Feb 1944
At 1115 hours, ShCh-216 attacked the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 106 with torpedoes west of Sevastopol, Crimea in position 44°37'N, 32°04'E. UJ 106 reports a surface runner and sank the attacker together with UJ 103.
